- White food
The simplest way of losing weight is controlling the white foods having high amount of calories & minerals like corn, sugar, rice etc. with high amount of carbohydrates.
- Prepare food by yourself
Another good way of losing weight is preparing food by our self. This way we will be able to prepare a healthy food of our choice and also will be doing lots of physical activities while preparing food.
- Drinking plenty of water
Drinking high amount of water is a good way of losing weight as that helps us in reducing fat from our body via natural processes.
- Including more vegetables
Do not forget to include high amount of green vegetables in your diet as they have lower amount of carbohydrate and thus results in consumption of fewer fats. When we haven eaten green vegetables, we are able to reduce the amount of food we eat.
- Eating the food properly
Most of us have the opinion that losing weight is a hard job. But by eating our food properly, we can lose weight in a healthy manner. In daily routine most of us even don’t have the time to chew their food properly. It is always a good habit to chew our food properly.
- Chewing sugarless gums
Chewing sugarless guns is also a great way of losing fat as well as reducing our hunger.

When I started my cinnamon recipes section month and a half ago I didnt expect so many people would show interest in it. Now a few weeks later I shall continue with more cinnamon recipes for tasty and healthy desserts.
Cinnamon Oranges
This is a very simple dessert that can be prepared easily any time of the year. Takes only 10 minutes to prepare and serve. As you might be guessing oranges taste best in the winter when they are at their peak, hence the cinnamon orange dessert will have better flavor if prepared in the winter. Lucky you, cause you can try it immediately and it will taste best.
Ingredients:
4 servings
4 navel oranges
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon sugar or (1-2) tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preparation:
Peel the oranges and remove the white pith from them. Use sharp knife to cut each orange into 5 or 6 slices and arrange them on 4 plates. Mix the orange and lemon juices, add the sugar and cinnamon and whisk. Poor 1 spoon over each orange slice pile and you are ready to serve.
Variation:
Instead of 1 tablespoon of sugar you can use (1-2) tablespoons of honey.
Nutrition Facts:
This dessert is low in calories, sodium, and cholesterol with 86 calories, 2 mg sodium, no cholesterol, no fat, 1 g protein, 3 g fiber, and 258 mg potassium per serving.

According to a Japanese study that examined the link between body mass and personality, extrovert people are likely to be overweight while the anxious people tend to be thin. For this study, more than thirty thousand people of ages between 40 and 64 were questioned about their height and weight and given a personality test (Via The Daily Mail).
The study result show that extrovert were far more likely to have body mass index (BMI) greater than 25 as compared to the other one’s. People whose BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9 are considered to have an ideal weight.
After controlling factors such as smoking, it was found that extrovert people have 1.73 times more chances of being obese as compared to their anxious counterparts. And extrovert women have 1.53 more chances of being obese.

According to the researchers here in US, people can lose weight with walking especially with pedometer if they go enough. People who are able to make a 20 to 40 minute of walking per day are able to lose small but steady amount of weight.
"The increase in physical activity can be expected to result in health benefits that are independent of weight loss," said Dr. Caroline Richardson, who led the study. "Increasing physical activity reduces the risk of cardiovascular problems, lowers blood pressure and helps dieters maintain lean muscle tissue when they are dieting."
Richardson’s team found that people in all studies lose some weight – about 0.1 pound per week on average. Over the year this weight loss will add up to 2.5 pounds and if one can change their eating habits that can add more pounds to this tally of 2.5 pounds.
In the study, people were able to add 2000 to 4000 steps per day and for an average person, 2000 steps counts to one mile.

Doctors Britain warned that chewing large amount of sugar free gums can cause severe weight and diarrhea. According to the German researchers, sorbitol which is a sweetener and used in sugar free gums can have laxative effects when eaten in large amounts.
Doctors issued this warning after finding two people who were chewing more than 20 sticks of sugar free gum per day faced diarrhoea, stomach pain and unintentional severe weight loss.
The first person was a 21 year old woman who lost more than 1 ½ stones in the last eight months and was underweight. The second person lost more than 3 ½ stones in a tear time and was suffering from severe diarroea.
Once both of these patients were put on a sorbitol free diet, their symptoms were gone and they were able to gain the lost weight.
